Funics - Fun with phonics

Funics are fun, interactive classes aimed at children age 2 years up to school age. We want to share the joy of language in creative, energetic and accessible ways for carers and children.
Our vision is that every child can love stories and learning through the activities we share and that their grown-ups can understand the processes of learning which will help their child develop at their own pace and without pressure.
We do this through introducing phonic skills, developing gross and fine motor skills and talking! Lots of talking!
About Classes
Join us for weekly sessions aimed at 2-4 year olds and their carers for an hour of early language skills, motor skills, songs and stories. Each class has a different theme and is led by qualified early years teachers.
About Phonics
Phonics is a way to teach children to read; most nurseries and schools use it. It links the sounds a letter makes with the symbol we see on the page. Funics helps young children, and their carers, understand and develop the skills they need for early reading and writing.
